Who's running High Performance Lubricants (HPL) products in their engine?

I'll be using the Premium 0W-20 in my wife's CR-V at the end of the month and in my Legacy by the weekend. Whatever I have left over will go into my Impreza in January with a top off of either M1 or PUP. It should end up being ~2qts of something and 2.7 quarts of HPL. I'm thinking M1 EP since I have the older blend with PAO and my guess is that with said PAO it is closer to HPL than PUP. Though, I am open to suggestions.

After this run I'll go back to what I have been using. Kirkland in her car, M1 EP in the Legacy and PUP in the Impreza.

what is so special about this oil, I have never heard of it b4 now.
where can you get this oil ? is dexos approved ?

Please understand that I mean this in the nicest way possible:

The way you ask questions and make statements makes you come across as ignorant, arrogant, disrespectful, and you give the impression that you're trying to troll us. This forum is chalk-full of good information. If the search function accessible from the top-right-hand corner of the forum software doesn't provide good results for you, then use Google to search the forum. Please make a minimal effort and research before asking. Thank you.

HPL - @High Performance Lubricants - Green/Black label - manufactures excellent lubricants. They are primarily an industrial blender with a laser-like focus on precision and quality. "What's special about them" is the fact that their products will keep your drivetrain clean and running well and wear at a minimum far better than any other lubricant on the market. This is accomplished by using high end materials in their lubricants along with having Dr. Leslie R. Rudnick, the godfather of modern synthetic lubricants formulate their oils. If you want the best of the best, HPL is it.

I use their products in some of our vehicles: https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/t...ted-ups-just-dropped-off-the-packages.355350/

I also like to try other high end products, so currently I also run Red Line and AMSOIL in some of our other vehicles.

I am very fond of HPL's transparency and willingness to communicate with their customer base in such an open and relatable manner.

I hope this helps.

Been looking into their products and info. I have to say , as a long time user of boutique oils in the past , I find H.P.L. product line prices are not any more high priced than other specialty lubricants. I will likely be ordering some next time I need something in their lines.... :)

Why is that?
Because I have 5 5qt jugs of Kirkland, 4-5 5qt jugs of M1 and 3 5qt jugs of PUP.

I am using the HPL for any cleanup. I don't have anything against HPL. If I did, I wouldn't have bought it. I don't feel the need to have top of the line oil in these cars. Now, my B5 S4 is a different story. Once I put it back on the road and get through the extra amsoil and the 4 cases of M1 I have I would have no problem purchasing HPL for use in that car. Though, it still may be a waste until I get the turbos replaced. One is leaking oil. That is but one problem out of god knows how many...

Nothing as stated in my post.
Ok? What was the point/why were you responding to me about coil packs?

Edit. AHAHAHAHA - got it now, you can see my APR coil packs. My car is at about 350 crank hp and I've been running those trouble-free for nearly 2 years now beating the crap out of it...not overly concerned. My stockers are sitting in my parts bin with my spare stock-ish plugs...I also run APR's 2 step colder/tight gapped plugs. APR is owned by Holley and they in turn own MSD which I *think* makes the APR-branded coil packs. Supposedly gets a bit more spark....

Well, I am now, lol.

Current applications are:
1. 2020 Grand Cherokee SRT 6.4L - HPL Super Car 0w-40
2. 2019 RAM 1500 Sport 5.7L - HPL Super Car 0w-20 (same additive package, lighter oil)
OCI length will continue to be the OLM because both are still under warranty.
how is the ram running with this oil, nice and quiet ?

Rocking the EC30 still but am contemplating using the last bit of 5w20 and 0w20 Redline HP in a midway point between the EC30. Both good products and they both have use in my stable.
