They are closing them all to climbing as they get more popular Chichen Itza around 2009, Coba & Teotihuacán 2020.

I've been up and down the east coast a bunch of times and to Phoenix once, but that's it.

I wish we had the financial means to travel and see the world. Sadly it looks like that's not going to happen at this point.

Never say never.
When we had young kids to raise we were in the same position.
There are plenty of cheap flights available to various points in Europe and many countries have good hotels at low rates and meals are reasonable as well.

I never have and don’t ever plan too. One thing I won’t step foot on an airplane but also I have no interest in traveling by air or anywhere outside of the US. I do want to at least visit 48/50 states though so far I’ve visited I think 17 states. They gave us the option to go to Paris, Rome and somewhere else in high school but hardly anyone went and I would never go anyway. I’m perfectly fine with staying in the US and traveling by car or I’ll do trains but nothing else.

I’ve never understood the appeal of wanting to go outside the US. If I went somewhere outside the US I probably couldn’t get fast food as easy meaning I’d starve on the trip because I don’t eat anything else when I travel.

Watchu talking bout Willis, here in Malaysia, KFC and McDonalds is everywhere. There are 3 McDonalds within a 15km radius from where I live. 5 KFC within a 15km radius also. I am going to order KFC for lunch in a few minutes and pick them up . There are also Burger King and Texas Chicken though not as prevalent as McD and KFC.

Foreign travel is the spice of life. It’s not for everyone but is an eye opener and a true joy.

You could sign on to work on a container ship to Europe, then take the train all over the continent. That actually sounds like a really fun trip actually.

There is fast food everywhere at this point. Before there was, there was the local versions, whether it were falafel or Ramen being served at a little shop on the corner or whatever.

You are right in that no central bank wants deflation.
You apparently think that prices would still increase in a market with declining demand and this cannot be the case.

Been to SEA area at least 5 times, once to the middle east (Egypt), several connections in the middle east but that doesnt count. Mexico several times. Once I walked in the open air in Kuwait transferring planes, that was an experience. No regrets, and cant wait for the next trip. I encourage anyone to do so, it will give you an invaluable perspective on life and what is important.

Fully agree most people should go abroad if willing and able, if for no other reason than to cement the fact we indeed live in the greatest nation ever to have existed.

I can tell from watching TV and YouTube that most foreign countries are filthy third world countries. I don't have go actually go there.
