Someone asked how made the Husqvarna oil, curious what is producing the echo brand.
Who makes Echo Red Armor oil?

It's blended and bottled by the Spectrum corporation a division of Phillips 66.
What is interesting is that this oil was once sold by Shindaiwa who got bought out by Echo, so now it is Echo Red Armor Oil. This is a good oil, but from what I have read, if you idle your 2 stroke equipment it can lead to deposits. How did I find this out, I conversed with a person on another forum who had been using the same 2 stroke oil that I was using, and he had issues with the exhaust screen clogging up. His thought was that cheaper 2 stroke oil is fine as long as you are running it at higher rpm and that will not lead to deposits.
