True. Nowadays what isn’t spying on you though?TCL is great if you like to be spied on .

When I had my business, Sony made most of their TVs in-house, but needing to offer some less-expensive models, outsourced a few to China using Sony's designs. One of Sony's top US service execs later told me their Chinese-made TVs had in-warranty failure rates less than half of any of their models manufactured by Sony.
I rarely have that problem. Every once in a great while when the audio starts to get weird I reboot. Usually weeks or months thoughWe love Roku but you gotta cold boot the beasts regularly. Even the best models.
You can't buy any smart device that isn't spying. That's why they are cheap. You can run a PiHole on your network which helps block bad stuff and spying at the DNS level.Several wrongs don't make a right...
How many streamers do you use?I rarely have that problem. Every once in a great while when the audio starts to get weird I reboot. Usually weeks or months though
I have 4 Roku Ultras. 2 get used daily and the other 2 not as much. How many streamers do you use?
We are your top 10?
How about an LG and a Denon AVR..!Anyone want a challenge?
Get a Yamaha sound bar to work well with an LG TV!

DirectTV Stream, Netflix, Paramount, Peacock (for Motocross/Supercross), Amazon.I meant streaming services
At least every month or so we have to power ours down
We use 10-12 services
We have those they seem to be problem free. PBS, Apple TV, Kanopy maybe Disney seem to lock up most. Like memory glitches maybe. ThanksDirectTV Stream, Netflix, Paramount, Peacock (for Motocross/Supercross), Amazon.
Those really were the days my friend!Ahh, I remember JBL speakers, that and Cerwin Vega for volume and clarity. Have to fire up my old Carver stuff sometime now that I am retired and can rework the sound system.
I do have a Fire Stick 4K Max plugged in and use it often. It does not work for the LG channels built into the set, so a hard-wire connection to a router is necessary for them to function. You could always plug a Roku or Fire Stick into a spare HDMI port and you're back to being wireless. I've turned several older "dumb" TVs into WiFi-capable smart TVs that way.
Agreed. Have a Hisense 65" Roku R7 series about 7 years old in our beach house. Picture is awesome and it works flawlessly. Have 2 Hisense Roku TVs in the primary home a 55" and a 58"...both work great with excellent picture quality. What ever you buy I suggest getting one with a Roku operating system. It just works.
