9, 40, or 45? Back when I was shooting my USP C 45 before even range ammo went full retard on pricing, I could reliably put a full HK 45 C mag (10 rounds, but it fits!) under a silver dollar at 25’. Sure, it ain’t impressive compared to Jerry Miculek, but it was satisfying. My H&K USP compact is a fine gun. Incredibly reliable. Accurate. A great shooter.
How reliable?
80 guys. Shooting in the desert. Lots of dust. 1200 rounds each over the course of a week.
No cleaning. No lubrication.
96,000 total rounds.
Zero failures.
I completely agree with all your points on the merits of the USP C line, especially the accuracy & reliability. I’ve owned it for 20 years now (my very first gun purchase ever) and I’ve still never had a failure of any sort. It’s been a long time, but I’d imagine that’s at least 8k rounds.
Again, definitely no records, but perfect reliability with thousands of rounds down range is pretty darn priceless IMO.
