Hello,
Looking for the best oil to the supercharger Eaton M52.
This compressor has been installed in cars mercedes compressor 1.8 and 2.0 and Mini 1.6 and other cars.
I'm looking for information about how the oil is there, what kind of parameters flooded factory.
Can I add there Amsoil ATF ?

Waiting for information.
Let me know :-)

NO! The Eaton supercharger requires a specific synthetic oil if you want it to last any reasonable time. Use either the GM fluid or the Ford fluid (same stuff), whichever you can get more easily, but DON'T use ATF.

Ford P/N is E9SZ-19577-A

I just replaced the original 228k Eaton M62 Supercharger on my dads 01 Frontier with a fully rebuilt unit from PSE Superchargers.

They actually use Mobil 1 15w50.
They dont reccomend using it if the charger has already had the Eaton oil ,but all of there rebuilt units use the Mobil 1.

I found that interesting ,but it does have a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty.

Are there any recommendations which the fluid must add there?
Why not GL-4, API: SL, viscosity ...?
What are the recommendations of the manufacturer?
I would like to add something that I can buy a replacement in Europe.
Such specifics are hard to get in Europe.
Thank you for your help.
