I was running a 94% efficient MC FL-400S, but at less than 3k the oil was black (cold). Spun on a 99% efficient Tough Guard TG3600 without changing the oil, and in a few hundred miles the oil was dark brown (cold) and has stayed that way for over 1k now.
I would not have thought it would have made much difference either, but it has changed my thinking about filter efficiencies. Technically the TG is 6x more efficient than the MC, since it lets through only 1 particle for the Motorcraft's 6 at 20 microns.
Blue, for you I'd suggest the Ultra, best value IMO for what you're looking to do.
