Thought of this today. I’d probably use the CQ Premium since truck is driven in winter. What say the BITOG faithful? If anything I’d replace the oil filter after a year since I don’t know how many miles I’d put on filter.
Well I drove truck thru last winter and no startup rattle with nitrile adbv. Must be design of the 3,9 v6 pushrod engine. For me, CQ Premium or the like from PG and their brands. For >6 months I like to have a silicone ADBV and gasket, which the normal PG filter line doesn’t have.

Good point. I just ordered 10 PXL PENTIUS 16’s for $5~ a filtercarquest premium. i like the thick paint and can on them. before i went fully to carquest premium, i was spinning them on OPE and equipment that wouldnt see frequent oil changes. silicone gasket and ADBV give me peace of mind aswell as that beefy coating.
Justin: that’s reason I just got Pentius xl 16’sPurolator ONE in the F-350 but I've only put on 315 miles in the last 12 months. Already put on 7,000 with a Fram Ultra on the Volvo & intend to put more on before I change. I'd say any extended mileage filters would suffice & peace of mind.
