Which cartridge oil filter to use?

I have 3 cartridge oil filters in stock for my 06 Saturn Ion Redline.

A WIX E/P, Mobil 1, or my go to, Hengst.

The Hengst looks great, made in the US, but the WIX also looks really well made, and even has a wire mesh reinforcement on the inside of the filter which I've never seen before. The Mobil 1 filter looks fine, but not as well made as the other 2.

I'll be running Mobil 1 5w30 EP and usually change at around 4-5000 k miles.
I feel that at those miles any of the above filters will be fine? Thoughts?

Was the WIX an older filter? I know they've been removing the reinforced media on ones that used to have it. I used Fram Ultra's & Hengst in my L200 & had no trouble. All those will work for yours too for that duration.

Cartridge filters are a nice thing because you can inspect the important stuff prior to install.
So any filter that looks good and has a decent efficiency rating would be just fine.

How good is the filtration? Mobil 1 used to be 99% at 30 microns. I don´t know what Wix E/P or Hengst numbers are. I use mostly Fram Ultras in my Jeeps. 99+% at 20 microns. I used a bunch of Mobil 1 filters for awhile, though, because I got them for $3 each on clearance at Wallyworld 6 years or so ago. I´m down to the last one. Just put a Fram in my Gladiator. I will probably use the last Mobil 1 in the Wrangler at the next oil change.

I think I read that Mobil 1 filters have a new supplier and the efficiency may be improved on their newest versions.

We know the new Mobil spin-ons are under Highline Warren instead of M+H. Not sure about the Mobil cartridge filters. Someone interested could call Highline Warren and find out what's up with the Mobil 1 cartridge filters now. I'd assume the cartridge filters are also under Highline Warren because they are mentioned on the Mobil 1 website as being responsible for the filter warranty now - it use to be M+H.
