my wife told me I could use our next years tax returns to get my H&K. now I want the MK-23 but I also like the P2000. which one should I go with. my cousin went to a H&K shoot out thing (beings he is law inforcement) and told me I would like the P-2000 better. its a .40 so I can get ammo from him easy. he has a letter that lets him get a H&K at factory cost.

or should I go for a GLOCK. the plus to this is if I ever have a problem I can have it worked on by the polices armour and save alot of money this way.

what ya'll think.

Get which ever you are most comfortable shooting with. H&K owners will say buy the H&K, Glockers will lean you towards Glock. I tried both and bought a Springfield XD-40. You need to try and get a little range time with each and see what fits your needs. I guess if you are considering the Mk-23 you aren't looking for a CC weapon.

And what is this about getting the wife's permission...? LOL

That Mk 23 Md 0 is gonna cost ya. Have you tried the USP Tactical? Many Mk 23 features including match grade components, half the price.

I was thinking about USP Tactical over the MK-23. like said it uses alot of the MK components at a cheaper price. I shot my cousins glock he bought for his GF and didnt like it. it was smaller than his service pistol. I have big hands so not the best combo. I will try his glock (dont know which it is) and see how it does.

also I didnt ask for permission. she wanted a $500 dog and she knew the only way I would let her. was that she let me get my gun. she told me I could. didnt have to ask her. I wear the pants in my family. after she takes them off and goes to bed

I have a USP45 and the only problem you have with the gun is trying to find a holster.
I carry mine in a Wilderness Safe Packer on my hip. Hidden in plan sight as they say.

Other than that the USP45 is a great gun that hits everything you point it at. BTW it is my daily winter carry gun. Now that summer is coming I will be switching back to my Browning HP.

I fell in love with the USP45 after one magazine ... The ring sights are a hoot too. I was scoring center mass hits like a breeze.

Otherwise the Mk23 Mod 0 is a lotta money and getting harder to find.

I have a HK USP .45 full size blued for sale in 99% with holster for $500. The waepon is almost new, it has maybe 100 rounds through it. I can send you pics if you are interested. I'm in NY but my FFL is an easy guy to deal with and will just ship to your FFL if you like?

nothing against you but I rather buy it new. I dont want to worry why the person wanted to unload his or her gun. thanks for the offer though.
