Broke a 24 mm socket today. Since craftsman is no longer sears , where do i get a replacement under warranty?

Thanks

Ace Hardware & Lowes should be able to do it, they stock Craftsman now.
But do they have that individual socket? I broke an extension and they only had the 3 piece set in the store. I had to drive back home to get the other pieces for the exchange. Those made in USA extensions in exchange for China ones now.

Might have to look online to see if they stock it or not. I’ve ran into this several times with ratchets-broke the old USA made one, only Chinese replacements available…

Where I live, I am able to walk in to Lowes and get a warranty replacement.

I've heard that isn't the case for all Lowes locations. But I bet most do?

Ace Hardware might do it. NAPA stocks Craftsman now too.

If you could talk NAPA into giving you a Carlyle has a replacement, that would be even better.

A couple of years ago, I took a 1/4” drive defective Craftsman ratchet in to my local Ace Hardware store. Now I’ve known the owner of the store for over 40 years and I actually went to high school with him. He told me that he would lose no money out of his pocket when he does a Craftsman warranty service. I reminded him that it wasn’t purchased at his store and he said it didn’t matter. A few days later he gave me a new replacement ratchet, free of charge.

As long as there is a part # on the shelf that matches yours you can exchange it at lowes or ace. If the # has changed your hosed. They won't even swap it on the website.
Only if that's a new policy in the last year or two? Corporate swapped a discontinued ratcheting wrench for me with the closest substitute in Jan '21
