I havent found any API SP oil anywhere. Has anyone seen it on the shelf yet? Maybe covid has delayed its release?

Local AAP in my locale (east central GA) has some SP rated on the shelf (couple different brands) . Saw it today.
Maybe you should start by finding what brands have the SP license first, and then go from there.

All of the major brands have updated their line-up, I even noticed Warren's MAG1 line has SP rated monograde, but it's just gonna take some time for the updated stuff to hit the distributors and the store shelfs.Maybe you should start by finding what brands have the SP license first, and then go from there.

True... I got some Royal Purple that has the SP approval on it about a month ago.
API SP at WM so far: Motorcraft, Valvoline, Pennzoil

The only thing I've seen people get on someone about was complaining that they didn't receive SP from Amazon, because it's not really that big of a deal, I don't think there's been any major changes to most full synthetic oils, the only benefit I see from SP is that to meet SP/GF-6A the oil manufacturers had upgrade their conventional 5W offerings to syn-blend.
I'm using there diesel 15w40 right now. Even got a voa on it. Pretty good stuff
