My advice? Dump the oil, replace it with a cheap conventional, run that for another 1-2k, dump it again, THEN pour your synthetic of choice in.
That way you are not getting wear metals in your synthetic oil.
I don't care what you use for the first change - get some Trop Artic, or some Kendall, or some Quaker State Conv from Wal-Mart... just do that and a short OCI the first time. Then put your synthetic in. Along with a good filter like a Pure One or a Bosch D+
