When do you fill your gas tank?

I try and keep the vehicles fueled up, in case I gotta run somewhere far.
With local prices, I never look at the total price.

Fill both once a week before grocery shopping and usually 1/2 or a bit less . Especially now with temp fluctuations and internal moisture caused by it .

During my usual schedule I fill up on Wednesday regardless of level. On trips I fill at about 1/4+.

My truck has a 32 gallon tank and my Shell discount is only good for 20 gallons per visit so I stop it at 20 gallons, plus 30 gallons of fuel is over $90 these days

I generally don't let the tank get much below 1/2 full. I like to be sure there's enough gas in the Camry to cover any emergencies or shortages. When on the road, if I see a good enough price for an acceptable brand of gas, I may top 'er off even if not below 1/2 tank.

Different strokes. I won't fill up unless I'm below 1/4 tank. Some exceptions, of course. Minimizing the time in my life stopping and filling.

I gas up after the light comes on, which means about 70 miles before it actually runs out. On road trips with unknown distances between services, I will gas up between 1/3-1/4 tank.
