Whats your favorite rifle?

I own multiple rifles but I do have a favorite. It was my father’s Weatherby, made in West Germany. It has an incredibly figured stock, Leupold scope, and is chambered in .224 Weatherby magnum. It was integral to one of my strongest childhood memories. I’ve never fired it.

My favorite is the one I think I want but don't have yet, lol.

The rifle that's probably given me the most pleasure in life was a tube fed Stevens 87a .22. I shot my allowance away many times buying shells for that thing. It was old but still accurate when I got it and I used it until I wore something out and it wouldn't feed anymore.

I had a Winchester .22 autoloader, can't remember the model now. The local hardware store sold .22LR for 59c a box or 2 cents each if you wanted some but couldn't buy a full box.

This is so hard to answer... I have a whole lot of guns but my fav. are as follows:
.22 lr: The Ruger 77/22 that I bought in July, 1994... will put all shots in one hole at 50yds with CCI standard velocity.
Woods rifle: Ruger American Ranch Rifle in 7.62x39mm.. with primary arms ACS 4-14x scope.. this is a wickedly accurate rifle.. 1moa! Crazy surprising.
Military Rifle: My 1954 all Correct CMP grade H&R M-1 Garand
Blasting rifle: Taylor and Co. Winchester 1873 Replica in .357mag... my kids surprised me with this rifle for Christmas a few years ago.
Air Rifle... the Benjamin model 347 that I got for Christmas in 1980 as a 10 year old. I swore to my mom I would take care of it... I told you mom... I still have it and although I've shot it a million times... it still looks great!

AR-15. Being that I had an M-16A2 in the service, I am used to and most familiar with this platform.
A real rifleman with a 20” barrel I hope. I can’t Believe those 16” cute carbines are so popular. I guess they are good enough as most are shot on our clubs 25 yard range. I mean…that is what a pistol is for!

I watched a guy at my range, in the lane next to me in fact, blasting away with an AR at a target at 7 yards.

I was shooting a Glock at 10 yards.

My hits were a lot better. Not a little, a lot.

Clearly, this guy had never been a rifleman, never been a Marine. His accuracy was atrocious.

I dunno, my 18" 6.8SPC AR is really good at 100 yards, my 67 year old eyesight and open sights. Put a scope on it, 200 yards tight pattern.

All my 5.56's with open sights do just fine 50-100 yards. Don't remember ever shooting it at 25 yards. Seems boring. In fact I think not allowed at any range I have belonged to. Meh, "cute". That's silly. 16" just fine.

A real man does a full Texas star with a snub nose at 25 yards in 5-10 seconds.

Yep....standard barrel. I prefer the old school with the intact carrying handle as well.
