What's the difference between these Supertech oils?

I did add the uoas for HM, Advanced and FS a while back. From the uoas alone there doesnt seem to be a big difference.

One difference is Im assuming the HM has seal swellers or conditioners.

I just got a SDS from highline warren on the 10k high mileage 5w-30. The first line says lubricating oils hydro treated spent. Essentially it's re refined oil. I don't know how to feel about this?

I know this is going off topic, but, do you have a SDS for the "Conventional" 5,000 mile oil as well ? I'm just curious if it contains more re-refined oil (I don't have a problem with that at all honestly).

My friends 96 Jeep Cherokee went 410K miles using the cheapest version of 10w30 Supertech and cheapest Supertech oil & air filters. So apparently Supertech is an adequate (or better than adequate) oil.

No doubt it's good stuff. I just think for it being re-refined the cost should be a lot lower than just a few bucks difference between it and Pennzoil platinum or m1

I didn't say it's good. I don't know if it's good, but I'm sure at least adequate for most American cars. Likely most Japanese cars too.

I know. I'm saying based on the specs and approvals it has that it is good in my opinion. With that said I feel like it's priced higher than it should be for an oil that is essentially made from mostly re-refined base. Especially when pppp or m1 is only about 5 bucks more or so per 5qt jug.

My friend with the Jeep used the cheapest version of 10w30 Supertech back when it was dirt cheap. Before price increases. If there is something cheaper available now, it's probably what he'd use now in his current car. For him cost was/is the only thing he'd consider.

For me, I want the best price I can get for a quality oil that's at least middle of the herd, or ideally, above average quality.

I think Supertech is middle of the herd. I think Quaker State Ultimate Protection Full Syn and QS HM FS are both above average quality and still very affordable at Walmart.

Ducks everywhere recommend Quacker State.

Some engines are not that picky about oil and will run practically forever no matter what you do, especially if you drive mostly highway. Try running Supertech in a hard driven turbocharged vehicle and I doubt you’ll see it hit 410k

What approvals does it have?
