What's a good .22LR rifle for targets and coyotes?

I agree with the 10/22 sugg. provide you can use a semi.
I have a few 10/22's we shoot 200 yards with them (at targets) all day, one of us spots and guides the shots in and the other follows directions and squezzes off the round, it's cheap fun !
But a 10/22 with a bull barrel and some trigger work and a good scope is unbeatable.

What about a Marlin 795?
I just shoot from the bench myself but using a 22 long rifle on Coyotes at 100 yards I don't know???? Perhaps if you use CCI "Stingers" or maybe Remington "Yellow Jackets" has more power. If that's the case then 22 magnums would be better.
