what well worn phrase will be repeated in 2016

I cut open my oil filter and it had cardboard end caps!

But they sell the diesel and wagon in Europe. I demand they sell it in the US.

Your subaru will need a new head gasket.

That engine is a sludge monster.

I'd put that gas in my car if it was blessed by the top tier gods.

I'll let someone else be the guinea pig for DI.

Anyone annoyed by that 20-ish girl's voice on the Chevy TV commercials??

This falls in line with the omnipresent 'the engine won't care/know the difference' and 'the engine loves it'.

In general, outside of BITOG the prhase: "I can't even."

Specific to web browsing I run across a lot of very irritating 'clickbait' ads for 'news' stories that read as such: "At first it looks like everything is normal and then... I'm on the floor screaming when I see what happens next." Or other outlandish claims

I'll stop when they produce a RWD car with over 300 hp that doesn't cost over $60,000. And, I'll retract all prior such mentions if they make it with only two seats and cut that price in half.

One can buy a Camry with 285, now if they would only sell a four wheel drive version as they do in Russia.

The 3 Brits driving Tacomas over sea ice to the North Pole impressed me. So did the slow killing of a Hilux. 20 yrs ago my sibs tended toward Jeeps. Now most of us have a Toyota of some sort. The '09 Camry just required a set of tires and a few oil changes in '15. About 10k trouble free miles at 97k. That makes the boredom a bit more acceptable. Might I suggest books on CD?
I bought the Camry mostly because of it's reputation. There were a few hiccups in the dealer purchased SE. The car failed emissions and required a head rebuild and a lot of while you're in there stuff to put right.Had a loaner for awhile. The salesman was a pro. I stayed out of it, The car passes emissions and runs like a Timex. The list of parts and labor was over 1500$ and 2 pages long. Didn't cost us a cent, and was of little hardship. Raynham Toyota. I was a little shell shocked by the price. I never paid so much for a car. Regardless, I let MDW handle the purchase. After all, she is the shopper in our spousal unit. So far so good. Boring is a relief after some of the "interesting" cars I've owned.
