I picked it up by accident when it was sale at Meijer. I've been mostly using Synthetic PenPlat/Ultra 5W30/10W30 on all my vehicles (2 cars, a Honda Odyssey, and a RAM 1500 Truck). All have high mileage, the lowest is the Honda with 130K. The truck and one of the cars have some seal leaks and I've been planning to switch to HM oil on the next OCs. Anyway, I only have this 4 qt jug and if I decide to use it on the truck, I need another 1 qt of something (I have plenty of 5W30 Pen and G-Oil Syn) can I add 1 qt of 5W30 Syn to the 15W40 HM oil or should I just use it on one of the cars (though both recommend 5W30)?

I plan on mixing a 50/50 blend of Valvoline HM Max Life 10w-40, in the red jugs, with the Valvoline HM MaxLife, NextGen, 5w-20 that is on closeout at WM.

That is how I plan to use up the 10w-40, Valvoline HM MaxLife, Synthetic Blend in SM that I picked up at the Kmart clearance extravaganza for $6.00 a gallon.

The Valvoline HM, MaxLife NextGen in the green bottle is being cleared out of the WM stores....so look for a nice low price with no MIR hassle. Valvoline and NAPA products and both made by Ashland....and all motor oils in the same family are compatible with each other.

The 10w-40 might be a little too heavy for some cars....so I'll thin it out with a NAPA Full Synthetic 0w-20 and Valvoline MaxLife Next Gen in 5w-20.

IMO...A nicely concocted light Ashland HM oil, with added synthetic, made specially by Mongo, for the fall thru next winter on some vehicles will put a smile on the faces of car owners.

Use it in the lawn mower!!! Or any other small engine. I have some crazy stuff in mine. I have 10w40 honda full syn in my little generator 1200watt I think its chinese but serves me well. I have delo 15w40 conventional in a 3000watt honda inverter. and a 5000watt beast. I have petro can supreme 10w30 in my 6.5 lawnmower. I will have around 1.3L of PP 5w30 left over from the versa's change so i might put it in my little genny when i change out the honda stuff. The versa has not used a drop of the 3000km dealer dino so im sure i dont need any top up for the next change.

I kinda wish i had a little garden tractor to try or use up some cool oils in. Cant justify cause my grass patch in the front yard is 15' x 15' The poor push mower doesnt even warm up.

X2. I would run it with a quart of what ever. It won't hurt a thing.
