Hey, first timer here. Since I don't have permission to put in a Poll, I'm gonna have to do this the old-fashioned way.

I'm doing an informal survey myself just to see what the enthusiasts use in their own cars. Please don't quote the filter studies found all over the web, I know all about them, have even linked them myself. This is more or less an economic view of who buys what, determining who holds what market share, etc. and if certain advertising claims hold up to their meaning.

Please state the make model year and engine with the brand oil filter as well as the viscosity of the oil you use. Thanks for your help!!

here's the link of what I have already covered:
Informal Oil FIlter Survey
Thanks!!

Hi. I use super tech oil filters. supposed to be real good, and only 1.97! sometimes ill get an ac-delco, they are good quality.

oil is always mobil 1. right now it is 0w-40 tri-synthetic formula.

> SuperTech SL 10W-30 "dino"
> SuperTech 2808 filter
> 3,000 mile change intervals
Submitted used oil sample from yesterday's change for analysis - plan to post results

(But, then, I could in no way be considered an "enthusiast". Me 'n m'car're just tryin' ta stay alive!
