More assured now that using SuperTech is not a bad choice and a good choice using Valvoline Maxlife transmission fluid
Use of Walmart filters now also a good choice but not probably for the small difference in price
Nine times out of ten the same brand as before. Just judge what viscosity/type (full syn, HM, etc.) to use a little differently now than before. Valvoline and Schaeffer's FTW.
Valvoline conventional or Motorcraft. Motorcraft because it was cheap and Valvoline because I thought it was the best.
I used PYB for a few years due to this site and the results I got when I tried it. Now I'm back to Motorcraft because $2 a quart outta the bulk tank is hard to compete with.
Before PYB, QS Green Bottle, VWB, and GTX. Purchased Pennzoil and Valvoline Synthetic once in a while.
After mostly Pennzoil products. Yet I will not pass up a good price to purchase other product.
Was considering Amsoil in 2004 for extended drains since driving upwards of 25k per year. After coming here and learning about extending intervals, then living for 5 years where I routinely parked my car in -20° temperatures, has been Amsoil ever since except for my most recent test of Schaeffer.
