First, its likely not made in one factory in china - someone stamps the parts, someone forms the media, and someone assembles the final product. There probably all in the same industrial park in some location in China, because that is how the CCP does things.

of course there is not one factory in China .. they are all over the place. It's not a centralized military operation.

I have become the QC department for my filter supplier.

I've been a "QC inspection and rectification department" for my oil filters for over a decade. I had to clean off yellow paint over-spray with carb cleaner on Q-Tips (including the base gasket retention groove), and clean up the dirty threads on the base plate on the yellow Purolator PureOne filters before use, lol.
