It seems odd that Nepros would have a promotional photo of their ratchet paired with a socket from a competitor. Perhaps it’s a new socket design Nepros hasn’t released yet.

I almost wonder if the socket wasn't an overly ambitious graphic designer's rendering, thinking it looks cool but failing to realize tool junkies would want to buy it.

I was thinking the same thing. I sent out inquiries on the net. Those other ratchets are for niche collectors. Each one is unique. I will be ordering some Nepros sockets soon....They are pricey.

Well, I received a response directly from Japan. The socket is a prototype. I must commend Nepros for their veracity.
Definitely buying a set once they are retail.
