What is considered a "low quality oil"?

Oh great. I guess I am going to have to use 1/10th of a quart of each brand and rating to cover all the specs and ratings... SL vs. SM? Every time we turn around there is conflicting "evidence" or opinions

Instead of comparing the oils themselves (via VOA), compare the API test sequences. That's not "opinion".

i would rather run a SL too thats why all but two of mine have 10w30HM and when 5w30HM hits all will have that one..

Titanium based additives

That is why I always have serious doubts about SM oils wrecking OHV engines with flat lifters.

Well I was at Dollar General today and saw they were selling a "SF" auto oil.

Man how long have they been sitting on that?
