What do YOU store your used oil in?

I've also found that the very large plastic laundry detergent bottles work well. I use those detergent jugs when I don't have an empty 5 quart oil jug available when I fill from 1 quart bottles.

In any event, I use doubled paper grocery store bags to keep the old oil jugs from tipping and sliding around in the back of my Jeep when taking the old oil to the county oil recycling center.

They empty the oil recycling stations on Mondays. You'd be surprised at the amount of old oil that gets recycled from home garage mechanics!

That is very cool....Wish my City did the same.

Like others I use a couple of old 5 gallon blitz cans. One blue marked and one red also marked.
