I killed all my other friends..
A brakes story. You've been warned. In a prior life I owned a trucking business. One truck, mine, was a W900 with an ISX and 18spd. It had the 3 position KW engine brake. With about 93,000 miles on it I won the daily lotto and was pulled around for a Level 1 inspection. I'm sitting reading and the inspector comes over, finished, and says everything is good but why did I replace the brakes so soon. I hadn't. He argued I had. I said no and he said those are new brakes. I said well then someone snuck under there and changed them when I wasn't looking. He said before he'd sign off he had to know that. I said they're original, I have a good engine brake, I follow hundreds of feet behind not hundreds of inches like most of the idiot drivers, I drive about 63mph to get 15mpg in OD (it was a 40' straight truck) and am very light on the brakes when I do use them. He stared for several seconds, signed the paper, handed it to me and walked off saying I know those are new brakes.
Has anyone actually verified that they are even correct? I mean, with many people here blurring the license plate of any picture they post, even if it's not their own car, why would they post their real date of birth on a public forum to be seen by anybody on the internet?

Went and got my friends Nissan Hardbody pickup started and rolling. He wanted me to bring a couple tools over cause he doesn’t have much at home. It’s been sitting 9 months while he sourced a discontinued coolant hose. We jumped the battery. His Miata battery wasn’t big enough to jump it it’s more like a mower battery haha. Cleaned the major corrosion off the terminals before jumping it. Then we cruised it around and she runs great. The first time I drove my truck in a long while too. I’ve never worked on a hardbody Nissan so that was a nice thing to do.
Clever insertion of innuendo. Maybe drop by the local gym if you want to meet some hardbodies to work on.
Good things come in small packages .

Replacing the exhaust on the the Saturn Ion. Took the old one off in pieces. Might be a pain getting the long piece over the axle.

Let me try this again..
We purchase a set of the Cobra Suspension 40mm rear lowering springs From PSR-Part Netherlands, in the hopes that they would fit on a 2020 North American Transit Connect. We finally had a chance to install these and the video shows that the installation was very simple and without any issues. Even the wheels didn't need to be removed.
The second image, shows that there was a fist gap between the tire and fender edge. Measuring the stock height of a LWB Cargo Connect has a gap of 4'' inches. Once the springs were installed, it lowered the rear of the van 2 ¼ inches.

Got the tinner ready for the lake. Changed the gear oil, oil (Motul 0W-30) and filter as well as greased up the mount on the Honda 9.9. Also prep'd the trailer.
Putting the Lexus back together after mounting the starter. Before positioning the intake manifold over the starter, I pulled the fuel pump relay, connected the battery and gave it a crank - success! The starter sounded much different than the dead original.
I left the knock sensors as-is; I peeled off the remaining, brittle "protective" OEM tubing and ran the wires thru some Painless Classic braid I had from another project.
There's one coolant passage that no gasket exists for; spent a relatively long amount of time cleaning off the old FIPG. I've done this many times before but it doesn't get any easier - some before and after.....

Went with a band clamp style connector instead of the muffler clamps type in the original photo as there is an inch gap between these pipes and it was leaking after putting it together the first time. These band clamps have a much greater clamping area on both sides. Used exhaust paste for good measure. The original connection between the two parts was a 3 bolt flange, but that had rusted into one single blob of metal so I just cut it off the cat and off the new pipe and used this instead.

Wow!, I am WAY behind at looking through this thread! I need to find some time and get through several pages!
Anyway, it would seem that I have become an expert at repairing Ford’s panoramic sunroof Issues. That’s not by choice really, but hey, it never hurts to get experienced at things, even if it’s not something you necessarily look forward to doing.
Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with these panoramic sunroof’s seem to have broken cables, plastic guides or bad motors quite often. This was my “leisurely” Friday morning job. It didn’t need detailed, so I didn’t pull the seats, I just covered it all up at this point.
This same rig, a 2009 Ford Edge with only 89k, had a P0304 as well. It was a dead injector, easy enough. All of the other injectors tested good with a multimeter. It needed plugs as well, so it got new plugs, upper intake plenum gaskets, throttle body gasket, throttle body cleaned, and an injector. She purred like a kitten after that.
Sorry, no pics of the other work, I just never think to snap pics while I’m working. When I’m working on something, I usually get totally focused on the job at hand. I only snapped this pic because I was standing there thinking, “well, here we go. Stupid sunroof.”
