What are you watching on tv right now?

Amazon prime has all the episodes
I wish I had known this at the beginning of February! For the entire month I was staying with my dog at my ex wife’s house while she was in the DR, and she has Prime and I was watching all kinds of shows there because I don’t have it at my place. Next time I am staying there I will have to remember to watch a bunch of old Twilight Zone episodes

Shoresy S4 just came out and My Name is Earl
I binge watched all 4 seasons of Shoresy a few weeks ago. It isn’t as good as Letterkenny but I still enjoyed it a lot.

I watched My Name is Earl when it first aired on TV and I really liked it! I should rewatch it again

Yeah I loved Letterkenny for the most part, hated Fartbook episode but otherwise a huge fan. Shoresy is close but still super funny.
My youngest son loved My Name is Earl and watched it over and over. Excellent show then and now.

I’m switching back and forth between watching Seinfeld and The Office tonight. I have been a huge fan of Seinfeld since the episodes first aired actually, and since then I have continued to watch them over and over again. I have easily seen every episode at least 25-30 times. I used to have the entire series on DVD but now that it’s on Netflix I just keep watching all of the episodes in order from the beginning and when I’m done I start over again. It still makes me laugh every time 🤣

We just rewatched The Morning Show. Right this moment we're watching the live feed of the Bald Eagles in Big Bear

"Baggage" ... hosted by Jerry Springer. Check it out sometime ... pretty nuts. 😄

Season 3 finale of the Righteous Gemstones on Max streaming in the beach house.
Just read yesterday AM, season 4 premiers tomorrow night ...I'm stoked!

The latest Shogun episode. Holy cow what a great show. Great rendition.

Never seen the show (yet) but seen part of the old one and read the book, and most of the series. If it's half as good as the book it's awesome.

Considering it was written by a former POW of japanese forces, who went on to take an interest in japanese culture.

You know, I never really pay too much attention to whom the actual filmmaker is. I generally just find out what the film is about and decide if the topic is something I'm interested in. Maybe this time I really should have, because Nolan previously did two films I found rather disappointing. One was Interstellar and the other one was Dunkirk (and I am a huge WW2 film fan).

I think you're doing yourself a service by going in as blind as possible into a movie. I avoid trailers as much as I can. But some film makers have a certain flair that you either like, or don't. So that can help with the decision to watch beside the topic.

That's hard to get around for me because I'm into movies and I can spot a Nolan movie blindfolded after two minutes.

I often find end up enjoying movies I watch with little hope of liking them and vice versa., For example, 7 years ago I was really looking forward to Fury Road and I ended up not caring for it at all. It actually put me to sleep which normally doesn't happen.

I could barely get through Interstellar. I found Dunkirk disappointing because the volume at which the track plays is too loud and distracting for me. I'm not saying a war movie shouldn't be loud but when it takes away from the visuals I find it problematic. Didn't care for Tenet beyond the concept.

The Nolan movies I like the most are

The Dark Knight
Memento
Inception
Insomnia
Oppenheimer
The Prestige

If you like the first Mad Max movies, and then find out Fury Road doesn't have the same feel it does get dissappointing. I guess the movie wasn't made for the older audience. Or maybe it reflects my soul, that I like the dystopian Mad Max rather than the cartoonish one?

I like the Nolan Batman movies though, Memento aswell.
