What are you watching on tv right now?

I finished watching Dexter New Blood the other day and yesterday my girlfriend and I started binge watching Dexter Original Sin. We got a lot of snow last night so today we will stay in and likely watch all of the episodes that are available for it. I think the last episode of the season drops next week (not sure if there are plans for a season two, especially with the new Resurrection season coming out this year)

Both my wife and I love Harlan Coben's novels. Netflix has now adapted several of them to screen.

The books are all set in NYC and suburban NJ; the Netflix series are mostly set in the UK, with at least one in Poland, and IIRC one in France and perhaps one in Spain.

It's really interesting to see how the change of venue does not hurt the stories at all. Human nature is human nature.

The author also wrote the screenplays, so that helps.

The best of the bunch, so far, is likely Fool Me Once. Very gripping, and the screenplay gave Mr Coben a chance to improve upon the plot a bit IMO.

Anyway, highly recommended.

New Blood was decent, but Original Sin is as good as the original Dexter. I hope Resurrection this summer is as good, too.

I am very impressed with the acting in Original Sin! The way they are able to get all the facial expressions and even the voices that sound like the original characters is really fantastic! It makes you really believe that it’s a younger version of those characters (except Deb and Harry, I feel like they were miscast, I really don’t find Christian Slater believable as Harry at all)

Since it’s a snow day for me out dealership closed so I just popped in Invincible movie about the guy who gets to play on the Philadelphia Eagles figured it’s a good way to celebrate the Eagles win.

Since when do dealerships close for snow?

Back when I was in that line of work, heavy snow days were our busiest in the shop. People would take or get time off work because they 'couldn't' drive into the office on snowy roads, and instead they would bring their snow and salt-encrusted cars into the dealership to be serviced. I don't miss the days of salt water dripping on me...

I’m watching the 1995 movie Canadian Bacon with John Candy. A lot of the movie was filmed in Niagara Falls, as well as in the town I’m staying in right now (Niagara on the Lake). The scene I’m currently watching was filmed on the Niagara Parkway, which I was driving on this morning 😃
