I don't get what people see in it.
I expected real life oil field work, not make believe drama and annoying hootchie mamas.
I didn't like any of the Yellowstone shows (original or spin offs) either. It's soap opera stuff, folks like that. But Landman puts the repetition in repeat. The mother/daughter thing is particularly annoying. They made the whole point in Episode 1. Done. I only watched a couple more for BBT. He really lowered his acting for this show, IMHO.
Started "The Terminal List" last night.
Started watching "The Vietnam War" brand new doc on Netflix. Some facts are not arguable but this is definitely skewed view of history so far. Netflix. Yeah. No.

We watch a lot of Royals but tonight Castle, we’re in season three. Good well written show.
I liked them all ... 1883, 1923 and Yellowstone. Sure some are soap opera-ish, but I'm not looking for a documentary. For that I'll just watch Idiocracy.
There are people in the world just as that show depicts of Mom and daughter. She was on her way to college, so don't know where you're getting "borders on pedophile". Apparently you didn't watch enough episodes.

Granted 25 is a kid to me too though, I have clothes older than that
I had looked it up up the 1st episode they hookered her out.. cause... "uhhhhh, what did I just see, isn't she in school?!!?" I felt gross!

Made me feel gross when I realized she's supposed to be 17.
Anyhow, I'm entitled to my opinion that the show isn't good. I bought Paramont and watched it because of oil drilling and some guys at work (i work in oil drilling) were talking it up like it was the best show ever.
I didn't expect it to be a soap opera and T&A viewings of a in the show minor (she's 25ish in real life) to make up for a weak storyline.
I'd honestly much rather watch shows on how oil field actually works. Drilling, various jobs, etc.
I just am a support guy keeping all the shops stocked on lube oils, greases, etc so I don't see alot of the actual drill rig work.
Another show that was very disappointing was Tim Allen's new show, Shifting Gears. I was surprised to hear they're doing a 2nd season.

Sure, but you're twisting up what wsa actually going on in the show. Wasn't any "hooking her out" in the show as you claim. She simply played a wild child 17 year old girl, just there there are thousands of in real life. The character she played in the show and who she is in real life have absolutely nothing to do with each other. Maybe find some G rated shows to stream.
