One of my all time favorite Canadian Bands and songs..... I probably own every thing they ever released PLUS the Video and album titled The Last Waltz.
Got to be one of the greatest rock concert/documentaries ever created. Then dont even get started on the amount of talent who were not only invited but actually showed up to help The Band bring it all home. One of my very favorite guest performances with the Band is close to the begining when they bring out the man who started it all for them , The Hawk. Longtime ,multi talented, very famous canadian blues/folk/country rocker, Ronnie Hawkins. The Hawk worked with just about everyone in music at one point or another.
I also own in my collection of The Band , "In Concerts" Rock of Ages , the double CD set that includes 38 songs. Some of those are done with Bob Dylan at various concert venues.
Good, but she doesn't have Tyler's range and her voice is too low, hence the helper vocals. I question why do it unless you kill it. She just kills the Dio stuff. Even her Pat Benatar and Joan Jett songs she kills those too. This not so much.
Just purchased a turn table haven't had one for 30 years. Playing vinyl that I've have had in a closet. Beatles white album, all of Led Zeppelin and another 150 records. From listening to cd's albums seem so short before they need to be flipped.
I always thought that this was a great instrumental piece. It has what I would describe as an ethereal sound, very much like that produced on later albums by Pink Floyd. ( "A Momentary Lapse of Reason, and The Division Bell.)
I love a great, mellow instrumental piece!
