What are you listening to right now?

Whooooooooooshhhhhh...... . This song helps pass the time . Never gets old , meanwhile everything else does .

Oh Yeah. Spent many a night cruising with a young lady or some of the guys playing the Dark Side album much much too loud thru one of the several stereos I was constantly swapping out. The Craig Power Plays or the Pioneer 8 tracks were popular then. I really wish I had some type of , just any close count of how many times I have listened to that entire album from its release till about 1980. There are (4) IMHO Pink Floyd lps that one should have in a classic rock music collection. #1 1971-Meddle , #2 1973- Dark Side of the Moon #3 (of course!) 1975- Wish You Were Here #4 1977- Animals.
For some reason it all changed / ended for me with 1979- The Wall? Got to see the Wish You Were Here and Animals tours and I guess in my mind they could not be topped? Lost all interest in the Pink Floyd once The Wall was played to oblivion on FM radio stations. Plus I think the "angry man" Roger Waters pushed me away. He started writing way too much of their stuff and going from the mix of spacey , nice , easy listening or rock out music to far too much angry and serious stuff. Way too much religious + political themes with all kind of fighting about everything with all of the other members , especially David. Gilmour.

The Church.
This is a song from their new album that has just been released. This song has an unmistakable Bowie vibe to it. While they weren’t a success in the States, with the exception of “Under the Milky Way”, I think most of their stuff is brilliant. Steve Kilbey is a mad genius when it comes to songwriting IMO.
I’ll be seeing them live in Tennessee this April. They’ll be in the US for a month.
