Any videos in particular? Looked through the last few pages and did not see any "growling" by women.

A bunch of others too where at least some of the womens’ singing is growling, and often the men too...
The women wear what I’d call “provocative” outfits, try to look appealing, and then growl in a strange way amidst thrashing music. To me it’s just strange and not conducive to the voices or the art.
But that’s just me, to each their own.
@JHZR2, OK, you are talking about the whole "death metal" sound then.
I don't really get it either (the strained/gutteral voice part, I kind of like the fast pace/bass driven sound some), but there is a lot of music I don't get, but that it fine, there is a reason for so many different types of music.
