💯💢💥💫% stoopid people think things turn to poison ☣ the instant the calendar hits a number.
Ridiculousness...
Gee thanks bud

I don’t think stuff turns to poison but I also try to buy the younger stuff if there is a mix. I mean statistically speaking there is less time/opportunity for toxin producing bacteria in processed meats going into log growth phase if you get the youngest package

I always look for the freshest packaging at full price, but more than 50% discount I’ll go for short dated.

Wasn't directed towards you sir just "expiry " dates in general.
I agree, with fresh processed products best before is more important. Second worst food poisoning of my life was cartoned egg whites that obviously sat out on a hot summer's day delivery🤢🤮
Worst case was express sushi lol. Lost 15lba and a week of work.

I was at a Pho place and glanced into the kitchen on my way to the restroom. I saw a woman pull a tub of sliced meat out of the fridge and put it on the floor so she could get to something behind it then picked up the tub and put it back in the fridge. No concept of germ theory. I haven't been back.

I post up the Ezekiel bread all the time I'll admit much better toasted.
I can eat it any time and generally for breakfast I never feel that sugar spike ever if I swap it for any white bread even Sourdough almost instant sugar rush and want to raid the fridge for more food.

Rather than eliminating bread altogether, why substitute? Just trying to learn from you. My now retired colleague who was very lean, but not into strength training used to remind me "Don't substitute, eliminate". While I've done that for the most part, I'm wondering if the bread you enjoy may have other benefits that I'm unaware of.

Sawdust has lots of fiber.

In general I have eliminated white bread or flour in general.
Ezekiel bread is different and the fact I only eat a slice a day has zero effect on me may even benefit overall health.

If i were to eliminate anything alcohol would be
#1 on the list
