I noticed something yesterday
My Pearls brand olives from California were a brown color and not black and very good.
The can said no artificial coloring.....
Apparently many other companies use
ferrous gluconate to color their olives, but these olives retain their natural, unprocessed black-brown color and authentic buttery taste.
Who knew?????
