Strangely enough, for the second time in recent weeks they were all out of pepperoni pizza. How does that even happen? I’ve never heard of any pizza place running out of pepperoni

Just got back from Safeway with some bean sprouts, shrimp and fish sauce. Gonna make pad thai
Poor management, usually. Someone should be looking at previous sales and ordering supplies accordingly. Was it near closing time, perhaps?
Cancel the Pad Thai for tonight. The wife made an unscheduled appearance in the kitchen. She made a stir fry with leftover pork, asparagus, broccoli, snow peas and what looks like poblano pepper.

Does you Wife have a twin sister that cooks the same as your Wife? Inquiring on behalf of @AutoMechanic .
She's got two sisters who are great cooks but both married. I don't think @AutoMechanic would be up for their cooking, either. Too adventurous probably.

It was still a couple of hours away from closing time, and the previous time it was around 5:00. Definitely poor management since it’s a popular item at the food court
Broke a long fast with Peets coffee. And a favorite coffee mug of mine

Late Lunch, Early Dinner: Masa Organics medium grain brown rice, assorted veggies, sauce of low-sodium soy sauce and Megachef oyster sauce and everything sprinkled with freshly ground Szechuan pepper. Room temp Nepali Himalayan Black Tea as the beverage.
