What are you eating right now?

In Canada our Wendy’s has something called The Son of Baconator which is smaller but is the one that I prefer as the bigger one makes me feel like I should have a defibrillator on standby when I’m eating it 🤪

You all right buddy you seem to need a little help .
I wrote that as if I were someone who posted one of a million photos of garbage food. I was being facetious. Read it closer. I said "more seed oil, more salt, sugar please," to make a point how horrible our diets have gotten in the U.S.A.

People will analyze engine oil with focus, determination, consistency, and passion. Yet what really counts is your own body's oil, and what we eat ends up in it. When I opened this thread, I thought what is this... a competition to see who could show us their best "Man Versus Food" creations?

I'm not preaching either. I have my own struggles being 15 / 20 pounds overweight. I'm just observing and commenting. I like the foods people posted, but when I eat it, I feel heavy, tired, blood sugar goes up, etc. If you really take note of the symptoms after eating it, you can feel that food harming you. It may be subtle, but it's there. It also threatens our national security, because trillions of dollars are being wasted treating chronic diseases that largely come from the crap diet America has.

But alcohol or other drugs are in a different league and are true poison. So if people enjoy food and can still feel good about themselves being 50 pounds overweight, then good for them I guess.

I definitely got your post. Well taken.

Finally some real action on food coloring and going after seed oils!

I'm not a good writer, so my posts can easily come off the wrong way. Writing is an art form, but I hate it! I could read a post 30 times and keep making changes, shortening it, checking grammar etc, and it would still be a clunky group of words struggling to make sense together.

Yes, finally some action. I used to say free market, free choice, gov don't get involved, etc. But after seeing what's happening to the country, I said now wait... don't these food cooperations care about people? They preach about" sustainability" and use language like "stakeholders" and they act like they are saving the planet. But the food they make is killing us? They don't care about people one bit.

Do you honestly believe that will make any difference in the vast majority of people eating habits. I believe zero impact.
Doctors used to smoke during appointments with their patients. Smoking was considered healthy at one point. With food, a culture of healthier eating will develop, and kids will just know from a young age what is good and what is garbage, Yes, it is the beginning of a monumental change. Takes time. The internet is the reason why. Information can get out there now.
