That doesn’t sound good. But is healthy.
I have to admit i stole this from my Mother in law she only use cottage cheese I added the Greek yogurt. I bet she has it 3 days a week for breakfast.
She also only uses a small packet of Tuna what is like 15g of protein.
 
After showing the photos of the last 3-4 pages of this thread, Mrs. Kira said, "Your guys seem to eat healthy".
We eat very healthily; perhaps a little repetitively...but that has yet to present a problem.

I am forever grateful for the unfamiliar items mentioned and depicted.
There's no telling when, if ever, I'll seek the really foreign items, but thanks to the posters.

ODD THING: I must read a bit about "fasting" and it's benefits.
However, like some people, there's no way I can get up and start my day without some breakfast.
I feel a bad sugar dip (or something) which crumples me up by 10:00AM if there's nothing in the firebox (stomach).

The doctor says all my numbers are good and have been.
I'm on day 3 of not eating for 16 hours, I feel better already, but I've gone down this road before; I have a food addiction (self-diagnosed).

I made chicken wings on the grill with homemade Buffalo style sauce, a salad (homemade dressing, never store bought) and some oven roasted potatoes drizzled with EVOO, and a persimmon for dessert. I'm trying to eat clean again, no junk food, processed foods or sugar. I'm sticking to just eggs, fruit, meat, rice and vegetables. Drinks are just water and black coffee.
 
Some ALDI brand 0% fat yogurt (since ya don’t need full fat) avocado and chicken done in oven with herbs. PROTEIN!
And 3 slices tofu for REAL PROTEIN
 
Fried up some shrimp for lunch today, with homemade coleslaw and fries. One of my favorite meals, although I don't do it often. Lunch is my main meal for the day.

Not once - but two times in a row I ordered fried oysters after my half shells - they gave me shrimp … If it hadn’t been so darn good I’d have said something besides more tartar please 😋

Sometimes if not all times it's more important what you break your fast with.
What, when, how much, and how often goes for nutrition and exercise are all important because all those factors affect the metabolic state. 30% of the population have metabolic syndrome. For best results the problem should be tackled from as many angles as necessary. If cutting calories and refined carbs,, and adding 30 minutes exercise does it, wonderful. That alone doesn't work for many.
 
These are dried elder flowers. They make a pleasant tasting herbal brew and taste wonderful in baked goods. I like elder flower pancakes, regular pancakes, almond flour pancakes, also with or without flax seed meal. Elder flowers have a pleasant flavor and they are full of antioxidants and obviously they consist mostly out of fiber. Elderberries and elder flowers stimulate the immune system and have been used by quacks and healers for thousands of years. Try them out - the elder flowers, not the quacks.

When added to a batter, elder flowers rehydrate and become soft. It's not like eating dry roughage at all.
 
This is what a crumpet looks like in Australia. I’m allowed to start increasing protein and fat so topped this one with a little pasta sauce and a slice of roast beef.

I had a ribeye steak from under the broiler. Big one too, almost could not eat it all.

Neighbor lady brought over broccoli and cheese soup for later or tomorrow.
Also said she is making fruitcake this afternoon. I am not normally a fruitcake fan, but she says homemade
is much better than store bought. Says she keeps it in the fridge a few days before eating for some reasons
I forget. The jury is still out on that one. Will cast my ballot when I get some.

Gave Daughter my like new snow blower. Toro 826 with an estimated running time of less than 20 hours.
Told her to come get me if she could not get it going. No call, so I suppose it is running. Supposed to get
snow here tonight and tomorrow. Will give her a call now.
