What are you eating right now?

I made some Chinese eggplant with garlic for dinner. The eggplant is usually deep fried when you get it at a restaurant, but I steamed it instead. The texture is not the same but it's a lot more healthy. Also, we ate it all up so here's a pic from a recipe site instead.

Went shopping today and ended up at Yard House for happy hour where I got to use up a Darden virtual gift card (Olive Garden isn't close and there are no Longhorn locations around here). I don't think any chain does happy hour better than Yard House. Shared the following (not my photos, although our food looked about as good).

Classic sliders with fries. Not sure what happened, but they used come with arugala on the side that could optionally be used like lettuce.

Crispy brussel sprouts in a gochujang style sauce with crispy garlic and a malt vinegar aïoli on the side. This is way better than it has any right to be. I ended up dipping the sliders into the remnants of the sauce to soak up the gochujang and garlic. I mean, why not?

After showing the photos of the last 3-4 pages of this thread, Mrs. Kira said, "Your guys seem to eat healthy".
We eat very healthily; perhaps a little repetitively...but that has yet to present a problem.

I am forever grateful for the unfamiliar items mentioned and depicted.
There's no telling when, if ever, I'll seek the really foreign items, but thanks to the posters.

ODD THING: I must read a bit about "fasting" and it's benefits.
However, like some people, there's no way I can get up and start my day without some breakfast.
I feel a bad sugar dip (or something) which crumples me up by 10:00AM if there's nothing in the firebox (stomach).

The doctor says all my numbers are good and have been.

Sometimes if not all times it's more important what you break your fast with.
