A little something before I go running. I will go running in a short while, about 8 hours later than I usually do.

Two dates, an ounce of raw almonds, and a few hazelnuts covered in blueberry chocolate.

I am FINALLY making progress. Took over a week!! Hahahahahahaha maybe

I now eat twice per day. Once right around noon, and next right around 6 PM. I was not hungry at breakfast and not tempted by the treats my wife always bakes. BUT my BG was not dropping day over day. I was having quite the high reading at waking and then every day, it would drop as the day went on, slowly to be sure.

Then today, woke fairly high - but at round 11AM bam down closer to lower for me. So strange. The oddest part, some sweet treats on the counter looked really good to. I suppose that follows my lower BG.

Getting older is not a death sentence (well it kinda is) but it's not for the weak!

Wife made Japanese style curry from scratch. Chicken. Tasted good. Not like the kind from a block - I mean in a good way. That boxed stuff is just so sodium intense (maybe 6 or 8 sodium compounds!) and more beefy. Hers was more subtle. Served over foodles.

I've been adding in every wrap chickpeas or black beans 100 grams for last 2 weeks I really like them and seem even fuller longer

Onions, peppers, jackfruit, and two eggs. Also a ham and cheese with grape tomatoes.

What looks like pieces of tuna is jackfruit. if you have never tried jackfruit you may want to. It has a mild but distinct flavor and takes on the flavor of other foods and sauces you cook it with. While you will greatly diminish jackfruit's Vitamin C content by heating it, it is also a rich source of other nutrients and minerals. You can also eat it raw.
