What are you eating right now?

Pirate coffee- organic cacao and coconut oil
Is it Filthy Pirate Coffee?

I have changed my coffee intake radically over the last year. I used to have a cup in the morning and one or more two later during the day or evening. By cup I mean my mug which holds half a liter or a large for to go. It syddely had a negative effect on me. After my morning coffee I started feeling ever so slightly nauseated. I now have coffee only once and only on the afternoon. No more problems. Must be old age kicking in.

Started at 211.8 pounds on Monday last week. Down to 202.8 on day 8. That's 9 pounds down in 8 days. In a couple of days, I will increase my caloric intake and maintain a 500 kcal deficit per day for a couple of weeks before returning to my normal caloric intake, I won't have to fatten up later this year because El Niño means the water may be warmer during the winter than it is usually during the summer. The local water temperature could be in the 60s!

My lunch: An uncured, grass-sfed beef sausage with - you can see what.

Kale and spinach salad with some power slaw with yogurt and salmon.
Each of those greens by itself will throw off your INR (blood clotting) if a serving is eaten while you are on a blood thinner, The medication must be carefully titrated to your intake of foods rich in Vitamin K to prevent blood clotting clotting problems I have a friend who is on Warfarin. The moment he was on that drug he developed an insatiable appetite for dark leafy greens, all of which were high in vitamin K. He drove his doctors crazy with his inconsistent consumption of dark leafy greens. He'd eat spinach three days in a row then none for a few days. It took three months to get him to eat a stable amount of those veg so that his Warfarin dosing could be properly adjusted. He was so mad. He had also been told to shave only with an electric shaver but he used a DE razor and cut himself on the neck. Bled all over his bathroom and living room floor. His place looked like the Mansons had come over to party hard.

I did some OT, so I got to treat myself to dinner out 🙂
They call it the "Healthilicious"
It's not great for you, it's probably just healthier than everything else on the menu
Honey Turkey, Lacey Swiss, Arugula, Avocado, Pesto & Balsamic Vinaigrette on 7 Grain Panini

And a Manhattan special 🤌
Which is literally made up the block 🏃‍♂️
My quest to give carbs the dito medio is improving, yet not fully complete

If they ever discontinued coffee, Diet Coke, and or Manhattan Special, I would literally expire
I would lack the strength to carry on 😭
Manhattan Special coffee soda is excellent 👌
Don't get the diet tho, it's not worth the savings 🚫
It's even better on tap 🍻
Only two places keep it on tap
Ferdinando's Focacceria, and Carmine & Sons
It's addictive 😤
I had one fresh (still warm) from the factory when I had work in there

I wanted to go get kebobs for dinner but that place has closed down. That's why I had dinner at a new Japanese restaurant.

Miso soup

A bento box with teriyaki chicken and vegetable gyoza. The sad white blob is supposed to be a mashed (baby) potato.
