What are you eating right now?

A friend of mine owns a pasta factory. He's always trying to force free commercial 10-pound bags of restaurant ravioli (spinach and cheese, porcini, three-cheese, and lobster), bucatini, penne, and whatnot on me. Now he's getting into making gelato and tiramisu. I won't be able to say no.
Without pasta I will lack things to put my grated hair upon!

Apples in the Pot: Dicing the apples in irregular shapes and sizes results in a variety of textures and mouth feel. I don't like my apples in a smooth, even texture. The juice from a fresh lemon was added to minimize the apples turning brown and for a subtle background flavor. The apartment smells reminiscent of an old cider house that I visited years ago in upstate NY.

Done: Less than two hours from the decision to cook until served. That's less time than it might take you to drive to the market and purchase the item. This way you can control the result. You can make the apple sauce tart, sweet, smooth, chunky, or add flavorings and other fruit to the dish. Best of all, it tastes like apples!

Slop from this morning, hastily thrown together in 7 minutes. Mushrooms and onions, a chicken thigh, and an egg fried all in the same pan at the same time. Also Greek-style eggplant in olive oil and two figs. I also ate two kippers but didn't want to waste time shooting the fish.

Ah yes, the almond ones are hard to find! I'll take one for the team so you don'thave to! :ROFLMAO:

32 g of carbs. Metabolically speaking it's best to eat most of your carbs in one go rather than spread out. Not that it matters. I'll be in the water for at least two hours, freezing my nuts off. If you want to drown me until there's no more bubbles you have to come down to Goat Rock Beach. :sneaky:

Started my day with Shredded Wheat 'n Bran and almond milk, and Ezekiel cracked whole wheat toast with peanut butter, and some OJ.
For lunch, an apple, brown rice with chickpeas, light tomato sauce and spinach.
It's raining so hit the gym instead of the outdoors for biking & running.
For dinner, whatever my lovely wife cooks up for us, always something healthy and tasty.

Tuna and beans go well together. When traveling in Europe I always buy canned tuna salad with beans, olives, and feta as an on-the-go treat. It hasn't caught on here and even the Mediterranean markets don't seem to sell tuna salad with beans.
I have been enjoying them more and really enjoy this particular bean salad they do have great health benefits.
