Certainly not me (starving) I have in the past because of health issues but after several days you are no longer even hungry ..I’m relieved

They are just extending the fast nothing wrong with that. I do believe and the belief they start dipping in the stored energy to burn its what I think and many believe what you break the fast with that's what matters more important. I think and many believe is best for normal daily activities are protein fat and not carb heavy breakfast that make you crash and feel hungry an hr later and want to feed more and generally crave carbs . If and many think now and show if carbs are being had I believe and science shows fats and protein slow down the spike and not make you crash At the end of the day it's still all about being a calorie deficit if wanting to cut or if bulking in a calorie surplus.Many docs say breakfast was just a modern day creation.
Most say eating as late as possible or waiting until noon is the secret to success...

You eating at the minimum to build muscle hitting 1gram of protein per pound at target body weight.I'm having breakfast these days and I have my last meal later than usual so I can get massive quickly with a slight caloric surplus coming from mostly carbs. That's the most efficient weigh without also upping fat intake. Adding two pounds a week for 6 weeks is easy to do.
Dinner is grass-fed beef, tofu, mushrooms, and onions in a spicy sauce over rice, a boiled egg, and a salad. Will do some extra weight-lifting in an hour because I don't want to gain only fat. Will still eat a few sardines.

I am currently at 1.5g protein per lb lean body mass. That seems to be ideal as I don't seem to benefit from more protein. My regular protein consumption is around 1 g per lean lbs body mass. My goals are twofold right now: increase body fat and muscle mass to make up for the increase in body weight. He's always trying to force free commercial 10-pound bags of restaurant ravioli (spinach and cheese, porcini, three-cheese, and lobster), bucatini, penne, and whatnot on me.
