What are you eating right now?

Potato soup and two McDoubles from McDonalds as well as dads leftover Chinese food. Soup isn’t a meal so you have to have something with it. Didn’t figure anyone wanted to see the McDoubles so didn’t take a picture.

Went with hot cacao made with Guittard cacao, Strauss whole milk, and inulin as a prebiotic sweetener. This time I ran the cacao through a micron filter for Shel_B's viewing pleasure. I don't care about a little grit but I'm a troglodyte. Almonds, hazelnuts, and pistachios, plus the last slice of cake to plump me up.

I like that blue plate.
I'm glad that you filtered the cocoa otherwise I'd have chocolate nightmares.
I've been meaning to ask you if pistachios have any nutritional or health benefits that are different or greater than other nuts. You seem to enjoy them often.

Pistachios are higher in phyosterols than other nuts. Sterols improve cholesterol levels. Pistachios are also rich in neuroprotective xantophyll carotenoids while being lower in fat than other nuts. They do have anti-inflammatory properties and are good for the cardiovascular system. If I had to pick one nut over all other nuts it would be the pistachio. Be aware of the potential contamination with aflatoxin so keep pistachios stored cool and dry.

Quesada. Mex cheese, cayenne pepper, chili powder, some mixed veggies (I buy the frozen mix, nuke a half cup or so for this), some chicken. On St Joesph flax wraps. Toast a bit. Smother in some hot salsa.

Tastes good, and opens the sinuses too.

Last night: Whole black beans with quinoa, corn, tomatoes, avocado, pico de gallo and cilantro dressing.
Breakfast: Rolled whole oats with cinnamon, berries and almond milk. And a slice of Ezekiel sprouted whole grain toast.

How much added sugar it list if any?
It has brown sugar, apple cider, two percent carbs. I will have to go back and look at the sugars.

The usual between Sunday school and church service is pop tarts and Mike and ikes, so this is a change.

It's OK but why snack in first place it generally leads to more snacking added calories and keeps you from achieving what you looking for. I'm not saying you can't have a bit here and there but the little things add up actually one thing I just don’t do and every day in lunch room there is donuts cookies and so on I never touch them I eat breakfast and a good size one till lunch. I believe the discipline is important early on it will create good habits.

I don't eat breakfast when I am home with my Wife, so on Sunday I usually get pretty hungry before lunch.
