What are you eating right now?

Tonight we'll either hit the Chinese buffet after mass, or come home and make ribeyes. She loves the salt and pepper shrimp at the Chinese restaurant, and I'm totally craving the fried plantains!!

This fat boy is having two low-carb tortilla wraps filled with cucumber, ham, tomato, and shredded cheese and a mandarin orange as his first meal of the day right now. I'm still on my two meals a day with no food for at least 15 hours between dinner and lunch routine. No more than 2,000 kcal a day and no more than 50 g unrefined carbs and essentially no refined carbs. Those 2 tortillas have 30 g of fiber which by itself covers the daily need for fiber. Obviously there is more fiber from the cucumber, tomato, and the orange, especially its peel. Dinner will look similar but with a different filling. I had one veggie/nuts and seed smoothie in the morning and will have another one this afternoon. I'll also munch a whole English cucumber and a few celery stalks. My wetsuit has already gotten a little less tight. There's nothing more embarrassing that struggling for 15 minutes to get in or out of a wetsuit in the parking lot.

Don't forget to drink lots of water; I'm going back to OMAD this week.
OMAD is great if you can swing it. Minimizing insulin secretion by eating only one meal a day will necessitate fat burning for energy. This happens every time I go on vacation for a couple weeks. I'm so busy during that time that I only eat one meal a day and have maybe two snacks, everything within a 6-hour period. Combined with my energy expenditure due to surfing and swimming this always results in me coming back from my vacation at under 195 lbs. My ideal weight is 205 to 210 lbs. A week ago I was carrying 10 lbs of winter "fluff."

OMAD, One Meal A Day. Got it.

Yeah, times are hard in the yard and I'm honestly trying to eat less. Being busy helps. And every time I eat less.. I feel I have MORE energy, just need SOME sugar.

No more fast food for me..

I was really disciplined way back in November. I literally had my lunch around noon and nothing else for 24hrs, just carbonated water and espresso. During my vacation I was down to 174 lbs. I'm now sitting at 191 lbs; by the weekend I should be at 183 lbs.
