What are you eating right now?

This was my dinner from K&W. Didn’t want it but was tired of hearing how we would have to drive an extra 20 minutes to get Chinese food that I wanted. Oh well guess we will get it tomorrow. Egg custard pie is really good though.
Your glycogen stores are bursting at their seams and your beta cells are working overtime. I can't look away.

Unlike Jim and AutoMechanic; some of us eat “healthy” 🤣🤣🤣
I find bananas useful if I need to replenish glycogen stores after an intense workout, for examole after a surfing session or after some rock climbing. The potassium in bananas is good after having lost electrolytes due to sweating and may help prevent muscle cramps. Before a workout a banana doesn't do anything for me since it's only carbs and not satiating. Very ripe bananas are good for making banana bread. Because of their potassium 40 content, large quantities of bananas are sufficiently radioactive to routinely set off radiation monitors. 🍌☢️

Ribeye just pulled from the grill. First time buying steaks from Sam's Club.

My Daughter loves salmon burgers or "patties" as I call them. Miss her living with me and don't make them often anymore.

That looks mouth watering!

I love salmon patties. For this, we cut salmon fillets, seasoned them with salt, pepper, garlic, basil, thyme, and oregano, and pan seared them in lemon infused olive oil.

We're slowly transitioning to a Mediterranean diet.

Last ribeyes I bought at Sams we not as good as Costcos, how were they, look good. ;)
They were good, pretty darn good, but they were the "top shelf" steaks, $42 (ouch). I prefer Costco, but about one hour away, Sams 15 minutes.

Hate paying that price point but selection was limited. We are heading to our Daughter's for a week to visit grankids. Daughter is a vegetarian, so Wife wanted her last red meat meal for a week.....
