What are you eating right now?

Oh yeah, Melina's makes some great stuff. We are huge hot sauce freaks with a shelf in the fridge dedicated to the 20+ sauces open at a time, lol.

Oh yeah, big fans of that as well and watching for years now! We have done a few "hot ones" lineups before with what we have on hand at the time. Of course, Da Bomb included (ugh...).

Sad thing is, not too much effects us much anymore aside from the hottest of the hottest. I tend to avoid extract-sauces when I can, though (due to taste). I dump on reaper/ghost sauces on everything without much issue at all anymore.
 
Today's lunch is small grass-fed ribeye with sautéed asparagus, carrots, and sliced tomatoes. That's my first red meat in about a week. I don't plan on ever giving up eating ribeye.



No reason to justify to eat red meat eat it everyday I can and do sometimes. People think it's evil or you're a evil person because you do. Screw them.

It's a choice like everything else in life and everything changes all the time. A few years ago I noticed that I felt more sluggish after eating a lot of meat. That's why I no longer eat meat before my morning run or right before exercising. I have my protein afterward.

I need about 120g of protein per day. I get at least half of that from plant-based food, cheese, and yogurt. I also combine my protein always with some carbs because carbs make it easier for the body to utilize the amino acids found in protein. Balance is everyting and may vary between individuals.
 
Absolutely nothing because I have to fast for bloodwork at 0815 for my yearly physical. Not so bad when you can sleep through it, a royal pain when you work night shift and have to be awake.

You could have gone on a one-week water fast before your labs. That would have really messed with the results. 😜
 
That's more like what I usually eat after getting up at 4:30am but todays it's my mid-afternoon snack. Sprouted and dehydrated buckwheat, oat bran, blueberries, hazelnuts, figs, chia seed, cocoa, and oat milk. Lots of phytos, minerals, vitamins, omegas, and both types of fiber. It tastes better than it looks.

3. Wagyu.
