This pick is on vacation at the Wife's home but yes avocados are hit and miss so bad at home I dropped them if it's the hot red pepper missing I just couldn't find in the house.

I can taste the truffle yes. Very mild heat. The habanero stuff is perfect heat to me at least.

Once I got in my mid sixties my lower GI tract just said no to burning heat. That said I don’t think it’s that related to age more like right after I had to take some nasty antibiotics 3 years ago or so

Tuna in olive oil with oregano very tasty.

Is there an Asian market near you? Japanese and sometimes Korean markets sell refrigerated natto. The beans themselves just kinda stink like trash, but don't have a really powerful taste, spicy mustard/soy/ponzu helps. It's the long slimy sticky strands that will kill you.
