Forgot to mention Caffe' Toraldo, I know my espresso company logos, even when it's an action shot (read blurry). Just noticed the almond cookies in the center of the table (awesome).I was just happy it didn’t squirt molten chocolate on my pants
Meat was iberico ham! Eggplant was parmigiana. A-.Bruschetta, caponata, mozzarella di bufala (the bomb) con pomodoro salad. Prosciutto end sliced against the grain (most likely the hock).
Nice. So far the food in Napoli is very inexpensive. Surprise to me!
Iberico in Italy? You have some nerve!Meat was iberico ham! Eggplant was parmigiana. A-.
Good thing you're not driving a car after that baba'.Just a small dinner. Arancini.
Bought a baba on the walk to the metro station. More like a baba-ino. Smaller than the monsters in the display cases. Then got some aveno-walnut yogurt at the supermarket. People were looking at my baba and wondering why it shrunk.

The wealthLast day in Southern California. Independent owned restaurants everywhere. Outstanding food. Great service. Prices for dining out competitive with the rest of the US. Weather wonderful. For foodies, Southern California might be a great vacation spot.
I looked into the cost of living in California post retirement. Looked at the state taxes, and no I won't be retiring in California.
Oysters. Lamb shank. Braised pear.
