What are you eating right now?

Garlic fried and a shrimp dish. Shrimp have a pungent smell. Have not tried them yet.

Late dinner last night: A simple recipe for Singapore Noodles
This recipe comes together quickly and easily, and reminds me somewhat of a late-night
Puttanesca ... simple, quick, flavorful, and satisfying. Used a prepared curry powder from
the local spice merchant, Oaktown Spice Shop.

You can crash right out on a belly full of noodles? You a skinny guy?

Well, I didn't go to sleep after eating, but I can fall asleep after enjoying some noodles. These were rice noodles, a little gentler than wheat noodles and easier for me to digest. No, I'm not a skinny guy ... what has that to do with it?

Cause noodles make me fat. Nothing personal. Rice noodles = sugar to my metabolism.

Noodles, of any type, don't bother me much, but I don't eat huge amounts too often. There were a lot of leftovers from that dish. I generally try to cook portions with leftovers in mind, cuts subsequent meal production time and cost considerably. There's always something in the fridge for a quick, easy, enjoyable meal.

Also, I generally try to include veggies and fiber with noodle meals. Fiber helps regulate the body's use of sugars, helping to keep hunger and blood sugar in check.
