my doctor has forbid me from popcorn because of the kernels and excess getting stuck between my teeth.

The egg sandwiches sold at the Japanese 7-Eleven stores have quite a cult following. I kicked the basic recipe up a notch by including some finely diced green onion and some gochugaru chili flakes. Unfortunately, I was out of the traditional milk bread that is generally used for this sando, but the result was still very good.

Your dentist doesn't want you to come back with your wallet? My dentist, he only ever gets the hygienist to do a cleaning, encourages all sorts of destructive behavior. Free hard caramel candy jar by the exit. I imagine those caramels will pull fillings right out of your teeth.
Bigs brand homestyle roasted pumpkin seeds. I've tried most all of them and IMO, Bigs are the best. Roasted until the hulls are nice crispy. The hulls are about as bad as popcorn for plugging up your teeth but that's what these are for:

Grilled seabass, cheese, and salad for breakfast today. The seabass does not smell so nice. I will easy the seabass first to get the smell of the plate.

Went back for second serving of salad this morning. No idea why my body is wanting salad for breakfast..very weird. Also on the plate is a dried banana and dried cantaloupe.
I did skip dinner last night. But I usually steer clear of salad in Asia.

Last time I went to Golden Corral was for a coworker's BD. Been a few years ago. They did have one heck of a selection!

Jd, I am simply grateful to know you are back in your home in Western Iowa! We were all a bit concerned.GON is back in Asia. Now the food pics are going to get interesting again!

It was quite a ride for me. Daughter tells me the hospital was scary. I really have no memories of being there for 3 weeks. Guess I was bedridden. mostly slept and made no sense if I was awake. I do remember strange people in my house, moving pictures around, etc. I was really out of it.
The nursing home was better, but very sad watching people decay and die. They made us wear diapers too...LOL!
The food made Golden Corral look like a 5* feast. No Chinese food either.
